ABOUT US
Our MISSION is to build conscious, self-sustainable communities and community ethics in order to share resources, knowledge, and experiences which promote healthy and peaceful living based on a profound, harmonious spiritual connection with the environment.
Lorax Community is positioned to focus upon self-sustainability within individual family units, community outreach/building/restructuring, and creating a support system within these communities between local farmers and businesses.
The agricultural aspect of this project places particular emphasis on heirloom and organic gardening practices from an ahimsa and environmentally sound perspective.
The culinary aspect will focus upon food preparation (mainly raw) and nutritional education geared toward transitioning people toward a more plant-based diet and planet-friendly lifestyle.
The Lorax project is in line with Food for Life Global’s principle agenda of uniting the world through pure food and is expanding very quickly and gearing up to join the Haiti relief effort in the not-too-distant future.
We are currently in the process of setting up a base of operations for this project in the Riverdale area of NYC’s Bronx borough, with a new expansion set to launch in Minneapolis, MN sometime in early March and one in Tampa, FL at a later date TBA. Negotiations are also under way toward creating a Lorax Community rooftop garden in Manhattan’s Lower East Side as part of a shared event space being established for FFL’s New York operations and events.
We hope to see vast expansion of our project around the United States, and also around the world!
